About

The Age of Self Help is Rezo’s third album released 12th July 2024. It was produced by Montreal heavyweight Marcus Paquin (Arcade Fire, The National, The Weather Station), and follows sophomore album Sew Change (2022) and debut Travalog (2021).

As Colm explains, "this record is a celebration of personal resilience in a world that doesn’t care. That human power to respond positively to adversity, to draw upon inner strength to navigate the challenges that life presents – the deaths, the break-ups, the illnesses that come with age".

The irony is that in this modern age of cheap technology, mass media, and instant, pervasive communication, it has never been harder to hear or to be heard, to help or to be helped. Drawing on our own personal resilience is key to our survival. Good old-fashioned stoicism perhaps? We are in a post Digital Age. The Age of Self Help. Save yourselves!
