Lost at Sea

Is it our time?

Or is it me?

Seems what was right

Is lost at sea

Never feel undone

Never feel this sad

Manage on my own

Sail to a different land

Cos it’s a time and it’s a place

Where a thing called love

can’t show its face

Lost at Sea - Video

The unmistakable Gorgio Moroder-style synth opener and signature rhodes stabs are a clear statement of intent for this dancefloor number. Despite its dance credentials, it carries a serious message inspired as it was by the Syrian refugee crisis as observed by Rory while living in Turkey. Abandoned suitcases, lifejackets on the beaches all serving as a grim reminder of all those who desperately attempted to cross the Aegean Sea to the nearby Greek Islands. “Is it our time, or is it me? Seems what was right, is lost at sea!”
